Şebnem Dönmez (born May 17, 1974, in Salzgitter, West Germany) is a Turkish actress, television host, and former model. She gained recognition through her work on television, starring in various shows and films. She made her international film debut in The Net 2.0, a Hollywood production shot in Istanbul. In addition to her on-screen career, she also performed in theater, taking on a leading role in Oyunun Oyunu (Noises Off) by Michael Frayn. Dönmez was married to film director Ezel Akay from 2005 to 2007.

Şebnem Dönmez was born on May 17, 1974, in Salzgitter, West Germany. She initially pursued a career in modeling before transitioning into television. Her first appearance on Turkish television was in 1992 when she joined a motorsports show on TRT, Turkey’s only channel at the time.

After her television debut, Dönmez continued hosting various TV programs and gained popularity in the entertainment industry. She acted in several Turkish films and television series, further establishing her presence as an actress. In 2006, she made her international film debut in The Net 2.0, an American production filmed in Istanbul. Alongside her screen performances, she also showcased her talent in theater, playing a lead role in Oyunun Oyunu (Noises Off).
