Biography

Necip Memili (born 27 May 1980) is a Turkish actor known for his work in television, film, and theater. He is a graduate of Çukurova University State Conservatory with a degree in theatre studies. Over the years, he has established himself as a versatile performer through his roles in various critically acclaimed TV series and films, including Şahsiyet and Çukur.

Early Life

Necip Memili was born on 27 May 1980 in Turkey. In 1999, he began his acting journey as an amateur actor with the Adana Seyhan Municipal Theatre. He later pursued formal education in the arts and graduated from Çukurova University State Conservatory, majoring in theatre studies. After completing his studies, he moved to Istanbul to pursue a professional acting career.

Career

Memili’s professional stage career began with the play Uçurtmanın Kuyruğu, written by Savaş Dinçel and directed by Erdal Cindoruk. He made his television debut in the series Beşinci Boyut and gained wider recognition through roles in adaptations of Turkish literary classics such as Hanımın Çiftliği and Yaprak Dökümü. He also portrayed the historical figure Evliya Çelebi in Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem. Necip Memili’s performance in the crime drama Şahsiyet received praise from critics, further cementing his reputation as a skilled actor. In 2018, he joined the popular TV series Çukur, playing the character Cumali, which brought him greater popularity with mainstream audiences.
