Ömer Levent Ülgen, born on 8 August 1962, is a prominent Turkish film, television, and stage actor. Throughout his career, Ülgen has been known for his versatility, performing in a wide variety of roles on stage and screen. He has also been actively involved in theatre both as an actor and director, and has contributed to the television industry with his roles in various popular TV series.

Ülgen was educated at Ankara İnönü High School and later attended METU School of Arts and Sciences. His passion for acting led him to pursue further studies at the Hacettepe University Conservatory, Theatre Department. He began his theatre career at Erkan Yücel's Ankara Public Theatre, where he made his stage debut in the play Atçalı Kel Mehmet. Following the death of Erkan Yücel, he joined the Ankara Art Theater under the direction of Rutkay Aziz. Ülgen continued to hone his craft and eventually completed his master's degree in theatre.

After completing his education, Ülgen started working as an actor and director at the State Theatres. His television breakthrough came with the role of "the wicked groom Kadir" in the series En Son Babalar Duyar (2002–2006), where his character and the catchphrase "Hallederiz" (lit. "we'll figure it out") gained popularity. He also hosted a competition program called Bir Kelime Bir İşlem on TRT1. In addition to his television work, Ülgen has remained active in theatre, collaborating with various NGOs and performing in adaptations of Nâzım Hikmet's plays at the Nâzım Hikmet Cultural Center. His other notable TV roles include "Sinan Kaya" in Akasya Durağı (2008–2012), "Chemist Sıfırcı Ziya" in Bizim Okul (2013), and "Necmi İplikçi" in Kiralık Aşk (2015–2017). Most recently, he appeared in the film Niyazi Gül Dörtnala alongside Ata Demirer. In 2023, Ülgen became a signatory of the declaration read during the press release at the establishment of the Union of Socialist Forces, founded ahead of the 2023 Turkish general election.
