Kaan Taşaner (born April 23, 1979) is a Turkish actor best known for his roles in popular Turkish television series such as Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne?, Kuzey Güney, Kayip, and Diriliş: Ertuğrul. In addition to his television career, Taşaner also made his mark in music, releasing his first song, Bu Bir Oyun (This is a Game), on Amazon in November 2020. He was in a four-year relationship with actress Şelin Sekerci, his co-star in the series Rengarenk.
Kaan Taşaner was born on April 23, 1979. Although he didn’t initially know that acting was his calling, he became interested in the theater after watching Danton's Death with Reha Özcan. At the age of 17, he began training at the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Theater Workshop and later continued his education at the Selçuk University Dilek Sabancı Conservatory in Konya, graduating in 2002–2003. His mother, Sacide Taşaner, also became interested in acting after Kaan began his training.
Career
Kaan Taşaner’s career started in theater, but he became widely recognized for his television roles. He gained popularity for his portrayal of Erdoğan Yaşaran in Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne?, Şeref Komiser in Kuzey Güney, and Kemal Özdemir in Kayip. He is also known for playing Gündoğdu in the historical series Diriliş: Ertuğrul. In addition to his acting career, Kaan ventured into music, releasing his first song, Bu Bir Oyun, in late 2020. He was previously in a relationship with actress Şelin Sekerci, whom he met while working on the series Rengarenk.
