İlayda Alişan is a Turkish actress known for her diverse roles in television series and digital productions. She gained prominence with her performance as Akşın Koçovalı in the popular TV series Çukur and further expanded her recognition through Netflix's Hakan: Muhafız, Turkey's first original series on the platform. With a career spanning various successful projects such as Şampiyon, İnnocence, Seversin, and Ateş Kuşları, İlayda Alişan has become a well-regarded figure in the Turkish entertainment industry.
Early Life
İlayda Alişan was born on February 26, 1996, in Istanbul, Turkey. Her mother hails from Erzincan, while her father is from Trabzon. After completing her secondary education at Behçet Kemal Çağlar Anatolian High School, she pursued a degree in Fashion Design at Istanbul Bilgi University. The turning point in her life came when a friend of her father registered her with an acting agency without her knowledge, introducing her to the entertainment industry at a young age.
Career
İlayda Alişan started her acting journey by appearing in commercials for well-known brands such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, Ülker, Akbank, and Eti. Her television debut came in 2011 when she portrayed the character "Merve" in the TV series Bir Çocuk Sevdim, which aired on Kanal D and later continued on Star TV.
Following her debut, she continued her career with a role in Gönül Hırsızı on TRT 1. She began attracting attention with her portrayal of "Nurten" in Benim Adım Gültepe, acting alongside Ayça Bingöl, Evrim Alasya, and Ekin Koç. In 2015, she took on the character "Sinem" in Serçe Sarayı, starring Songül Öden and Mert Fırat.
Alişan continued to build her portfolio with roles such as Eylül in Bana Sevmeyi Anlat and Cemre in Rüya. Her breakthrough came with her performance as "Akşın Koçovalı" in the popular TV series Çukur, where she worked with acclaimed actors like Perihan Savaş, Ercan Kesal, Aras Bulut İynemli, and Rıza Kocaoğlu. Her acting in the second season of Çukur was particularly well-received.
Following Çukur, she gained international recognition by playing "Aylin Erman" in Hakan: Muhafız (The Protector), Netflix's first Turkish original series. Between 2019 and 2020, she appeared in TRT 1's Şampiyon, alongside Erdal Özyağcılar and Erkan Avcı.
In 2021, İlayda starred as Özlem Narin in Terapist, an original series on the GAİN digital platform. The same year, she portrayed Ela Yüksel in İnnocence (Masumiyet), which aired on FOX, and later joined the cast of Kırmızı Oda on TV8.
In 2022, she took on a leading role in Seversin, broadcast on Kanal D. Most recently, she starred in Ateş Kuşları, which aired on ATV between 2023 and 2024, concluding with its 54th episode on May 10, 2024.
